CONTENT SERIES INTRO WARNING LETTER THREE GOATS WHERE THEY RESIDE THE BUILDOUT FILES FIVE SECTORS A trilogy The SRC: An Overview Monette does not know of her omnipotence — yet. She does not know she's anything other than human. One Saturday evening she is kidnapped and taken to the SRC, an academy in Hell where cambions and future servants of the Devil, Kragola, are trained how to unlock their potential. The Devil eventually grants all students the full force of their powers. This includes Monette, whose powers are far more potent than the others. Yet, his ego ignores the warnings from his servants. The students are returned to the surface to fulfill their responsibilities as a servant to Hell. But after skillfully pretending for so long to be devoted to the Devil, Monette ignores the rules and missions given to her and goes on a vindictive rampage with her new powers — of which only a couple include shapeshifting and keeping people alive to feel the pain amidst wounds that would otherwise be fatal. Those who have committed atrocities, and all who have wronged her and her family while she was 'alive', will find out that a prison sentence — if they'd even gotten one — will have been the most luxurious of their consequences. Kragola tries to stop her rampage, but finds that her omnipotence matches his own. For this first time in his nearly eternal life, he is afraid. He knows who her last target is. This series, originally starting with Where They Reside, has been in progress since 2020. It was started, and much of it was planned, while I was in residential treatment for OCD and anxiety. From the slow-burn gothic backstory of Monette in the psychological horror novella Three Goats, to her vindictive rampage in Where They Reside, to the forces of Hell trying to take earth in The Buildout, Five Sectors is a revenge story that spans three books and that has a protagonist-turned-antagonist that some readers just might root for. BOOK INFO All book covers below are uncopyrighted concepts made with public domain assets. THREE GOATS A NOVELLA A family trapped in their own house by the devil. If you leave, you die. If help comes, they die. Then you die. He wants only one thing - the family's daughter, Monette Müller. WHERE THEY RESIDE EIN ROMAN Monette Müller. Cambion. Sukkubus. Gestaltwandler. FILES WTR FILE ONE WHERE THEY RESIDE FILE ONE CHAPTER SEVEN SCENE THREE CONTENT WARNING: GORE "Do you have to out me?" "Do you have to out me?" Princeton's vintage executive chair squeals as he leans back. "Under the circumstances I'm not obligated to break confidentiality, no." Ellit adjusts his Kubota cap. "Oh, thank you kindly! It means a heck-a-lot. I already swore to the big man I'd never—" "But ," he interrupts, lifting a pruny index finger, "I can't promise karma won't catch up. I'm no superstitious man, but in this, I believe." "Oh, I know, b'leeve me. Ain't a single night goes by I don't feel the guilt. Don't think I'll ever forgive myself, if I'm honest witcha." Elliot removes his glasses and dabs his eyes with a tissue, stinging from the onset of tears. "Me neither." That wasn't Princeton's voice. Elliot tenses. He lowers the tissue and through the blurriness of his vision are two glowing lavender dots where Princeton's eyes once were and long charcoal hair where his short brown hair once was — and, he puts his glasses on to find a woman where Princeton once was. "Who are you?" he croaks, clinging on to hope it's another episode. The woman jerks her leg under the desk. A gurney squeaks out, the upper-half of Princeton's body laying flat on the blood-sodden mattress. The woman jerks her leg under the desk. A gurney squeaks out, the upper-half of Princeton's body laying flat on the soggy, blood-soaked mattress. "Ellie, please help me!" the corpse wails as carmine tears drool down its cheeks. With a sound similar to noodles being stirred, its bowels unravel from its body like a hose reel, wrapping Elliot and fastening him to the chair. Elliot vomits onto his lap and struggles against the viscous ropes. "Fucking hexe!" "Say my name, darling." The woman's voice, while gentle, reverberates through the walls. "Ain't got a single clue 'bout your goddamned name!" "Say it. " As a wave of heat washes through his body, his muscles relax and he succumbs to sleepiness. I must do as told. I want to do as told. As the woman stands up, he remembers her face and everything he had done. "Monette." Monette's mandible detaches from her skull and dangles by threads of stretched and torn flesh and muscle, forming a toothy open-mouth smile large enough to fit a small man. With each step of the looming woman, vibrations are sent throughout the room. Elliot's poppy back on the farm used to tell him to reap what you sow - so, he holds his eyelids shut, accepting that, this time, he will not go without punishment.

  • About | Alex Gonzalez

About Me Hello — I'm Alex! Similarly to every human ever, I often grapple with my mental health. Owing to one of my disorders, ASD, I have never been amazing at verbal communication. That's why, at a young age, I discovered my preference for written communication. Throughout my life, my creative outlet has been writing — whether it be prose or, within the last few years, poetry and prose poetry. Though I do intend on publishing poetry in the future, the main purpose of this website is the blog. On it will be posts ranging from poetry to personal anecdotes to mental health discussions. Welcome, and I truly appreciate you being here!

Return I have over seventy blog post drafts -- below, in no specific order, are the closest ones to being posted. Anything I spontaneously write and post in between is not included. Upcoming Poetry Upcoming Posts In order to create a consistent upload schedule, I've been working on a backlog of posts, so I'll always have at least one ready while working on another. The following are 12 poetry collections that are the closest to being finished, or are finished, out of over 40 poetry collection drafts I have. FIELD OF DANDELIONS BLOCK PARTY TOTE & PULL FALLSTREAK NO EYES BEES & MILKWEED LAVENDER SPIRAL QUEEN OF THE NIGHT RED HAT MOLDING APPRECIATIONS APPRECIATIONS PART II APPRECIATIONS PART III A DANGEROUS MISCONCEPTION An essay about the most common misconception about post-traumatic stress disorder - that it is reserved for combat veterans - and the harmful personal and societal impacts of that misconception. IF I LIVE, IF I LEAVE "Do you guys ever think about dying?" With my obsessive-compulsive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder, I am in constant fear that every day will be my last. PLEASE CATCH MY DREAMS A personal account of the way post-traumatic stress disorder has, in the past and in many ways currently, impacted my ability to sleep. HEALING WITH POETRY Why I started writing poetry and the healing power of the hobby. THE FIRST YEAR A personal account of the first year following a traumatic incident. POLITICAL SHIFT An essay bout growing up in a place where people complain about indoctrination but let their kids sit in front of Fox News before knowing what politics means. An essay about identity foreclosure, cognitive biases, misinformation, unlearning toxic ideologies instilled from a young age, and learning to look toward the future when so many are trying to bring us back. MEN BLAMING WOMEN There is a mental health crisis among men - as there is for all genders - but some are placing blame where it does not belong. This essay discusses topics about men's mental health and the men who pretend to care about it only when it gives them the opportunity to illogically blame women as a whole for their struggles. THE FEAR OF WEAKNESS An essay about the toxic masculinity instilled into boys from a young age and the once innocent men in your life being sucked into manosphere rabbit holes.
