Carrie

I was initially confused as to why Miss Collins was laughing when Carrie got pig blood dumped on her. It turns out she wasn't actually laughing, and due to her bullying and psychological trauma from her mother, as well as how vulnerable of a state she was in, she actually imagined a lot of that laughter. It was only a few people that truly laughed, while most of the audience was simply in shock. Aside from a few mean girls, people there did like her, but she was so conditioned to believe she was hated that she did not see it that way. It's really heartbreaking.
The movie wasn't that scary until the end. The whole prom scene, as well as her creepy mother hiding behind the door, as well as the position she died in, were all uncomfortable to see.
